A Family Legacy
The Papadas family started in real estate during the 1980’s. Athena’s father immigrated from Greece to build a better life for his family. While providing for his family in Greece, he set out to provide a better life for his wife and two daughters. Athena’s mother and father worked tirelessly for decades to build a small portfolio of residential properties across Ontario and then finally in Ottawa. Their initial sacrifices and investments have become the foundation of a family legacy in real estate and property management, eventually becoming what is now Agos Property Management Inc.
In the beginning, it was a sole proprietorship and mother and father team. Handling all the financing and maintenance in house. They were fair in their practice and provided well maintained homes for their tenants.
In an effort to pursue the family legacy, Athena has modernized the business. Taking the beginning principles of hard work, perseverance, and humility to now manage other people’s residential properties as well. Today, Agos Property Management Inc oversees numerous residential portfolios all across the Ottawa region. A name quickly becoming synonymous with quality and trust.
As Agos Inc continues to grow, it will continue to honour its roots. With every property that is managed, Agos will continue to strive to live up to the vision and care that has been present for generations.
The Next Generation
Athena and James met while working for a high-end residential builder in Vancouver, B.C. From the moment they met, it was clear that they were a great pair. Athena with a high drive, sharp mind, and background in real estate, project management, and architecture. James, coming from a military family with high precision and discipline. With a career background in carpentry and industrial design. James' innate talent and skill was unmatched. Their passion for real estate, building, creativity, and family, created the perfect partnership for life and business.
Athena admired James’ attention to detail and meticulous craftsmanship. His ability to problem solve with raw materials into functional solutions and beautiful shapes. James was equally inspired by Athena’s visionary approach, blending design, strategy, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Together, they imagined a life of creating something for themselves. Taking a big leap, they came to Ottawa to pursue Athena’s family legacy with James’ fresh perspective and officially launched Agos Property Management Inc.
Today, Athena and James continue to lead Agos Property Management Inc., into becoming one of the most highly regarded property management companies in the area.

Athena was born into a family with over four decades of experience in real estate investing and management. She has a personal passion for real estate investing with years of experience as an architectural draftsman earning her a BCIN in the province of Ontario. In addition she gained years of hands on project management experience while working for a luxury residential builder in Vancouver, BC.
Her multifaceted skill set in real estate investing and project management allows her to navigate the market with acumen and foresight and her proficiency in architectural design adds a layer of sophistication to her approach; ensuring that every project undertaken by AGOSinc. is filled with precision, finesse, and functionality. Athena’s unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit, drives the company forward; redefining the standards of excellence in property management.
James Agostinho
